Battle of the CTs

Over at DSA, a bunch of creative teams are duking it out to see who’s the best.  Each week for 4 weeks, there is a new challenge.   You must use only your designer’s kits, and there are several rules, but so far it’s lots of fun.  The winner is decided by which team receives the most votes.  Anyone can vote, and voting will be open on Monday and Tuesday, so please head on over and vote for [Squared] Divas!  (I’ll post a link once it’s up).

Merry Christmas!

ScrapMatters is celebrating Christmas in July this weekend with a bunch of new Christmas kits and a huge sale on all things winter/holiday!  Here’s a look at what I’ve been playing with so far:

Haynay Designs released this beauty:

I love the old fashioned, classic feel of the kit.  It’s just gorgeous!  And here’s what I did with it:

WM[squared] Designs also released a brand new Christmas kit:

Both of these kits are just incredible and I know I will be using them over and over again!  I wish I had more Christmas pictures to scrap, but I will be sure to take plenty of extras this year!

Wendy of WM[squared] Designs fame released several (like 4!) new products this week.

First, we have Be Inspired – Jen W templates:

Next, Decorative Overlays V.2:

Aren’t they beautiful?  Overlays are super versatile, even if you don’t design.  I love them!

She also released a small (bigger than a mini, not as big as a regular) kit called “Birds of a Feather”:

And an alpha that coordinates, “All Chromed Out”:

You can pick up the kit and the alpha together for a lower price.  Be sure to check it out.  Here’s what I did with the templates and “Birds of a Feather”:

Grab Bag Blog Train!

Woot!  Woot!  Welcome to your next stop on the blog train, Vancouver, BC (Canada).  You should have arrived from Wendy’s blog.  I am absolutely LOVING this grab bag.  How about you?  The colors are fabulous and I especially love that the designers really collaborated on their kits, so each piece coordinates with the others.  It’s like one HUGE collab kit!

Project 365

i’ve been terrible about posting my Project 365 LOs here.  sorry guys!  actually taking the pictures is no problem, it’s the posting them to my personal blog, scrapping them, and posting the LOs that really starts to take time!  here are the most recent pages i’ve done:

all throughout the month of May, ScrapMatters hosted a competition called “Queen of Scrap” where everyone competed to see who could create (and post) the most layouts.  i, by no means, came anywhere near winning, but i had fun seeing how many i could do in a month.  there were also prizes, so that was fun!  anyway, here are just a few of the LOs i did.  all images are linked to my gallery at SM, so you can click over there to see the credits and you can also browse my others if you’d like!

sneak peeks

i apologize for the inadvertent blog break i’ve been taking (it’s not like i’m ever that good at posting regularly anyway!).  life has been busy!  i hope to get in sometime this weekend and post a bunch of the LOs i’ve been doing.  for now though, i’ve got not one, but TWO sneak peeks for you!

Viva Fiesta!

Have you seen it yet???  WM[squared] released a fabulous new kit yesterday and I am so excited about it!  I’ve scrapped two pages with it already and am sure I’ll continue to use it all the time.
