i got to do another speed scrap last night!  essentially it was a speed scrap – scrap lift of neeceebee’s gallery and it was so much fun.  i love denise’s style, but really struggled with this LO for some reason.  i think it’s because i didn’t have a clear direction of where i was going with it and i couldn’t settle on one kit.  it’s so much harder for me when i try to pick and choose between kits.  anyway, i’m fairly happy with the end result.  i like the black background and bright colors.

scrapmatters has so many awesome challenges and i love them ALL.  unfortunately, i don’t have unlimited time, so i can’t do them all.  i did take the time to do a “word up” challenge the other day.  the only requirement was that you repeated a word several times for your title.  i used a kit called “Crush” by Krystal Hart.  it’s got some great colors and is really fun to use.

project 365

this year, i decided to participate in something called “project 365.”  basically, you take a photo every day for a year.  i also decided to get on board with a couple of groups of digi-scrappers and attempt to scrap all of the photos i take.  gina over at weeds and wildflowers has a great kit out called “life 365.”  it’s full of wonderful templates, papers and embellishments and makes scrapping these photos so easy!  here are my first two weeks:
